Teronado bolts in at Doomben

Sep 11, 2014

Teronado showed his class on Saturday with a dominant second up win over 1640m at Doomben.

After competing against the best three years in Melbourne and Sydney last campaign, Saturday's Class 6 Plate was a big drop in grade for the four year old.  Under the plate conditions he was weighted beautifully with 54.5kg's and proved much too good for the rest of the field.

He travelled well back in the run and with the speed continuing to slow, jockey Chris Munce took no chances and made his run approaching the 600m mark.  Teronado gathered in the field in a matter of strides and cleared away, scoring easily by three lengths and running blistering sectionals.

Trainer Bruce Hill is yet to disclose his plan for the son of Testa Rossa, but he definitely has bigger and better things in store for him.
