Dazzle Us scores impressive Doomben win

Mar 25, 2013

Dazzle Us recorded his third career win on Saturday by taking out the James Brockhurst Benchmark 85 Handicap at Doomben.

Stepping up to 2200m for the first time, the four year old settled back in the field.  At the 700m he was allowed to stride forward by jockey Paul Hammersley and raced around the field, drawing clear to hold off Secret Garden by just under two lengths.

Trainer Bruce Hill was thrilled with the win and believes he is a better horse on on the firmer ground after being labeled by form analysts as only a wet track performer.

The win took Dazzle Us' earnings to over $73,000 from his 19 starts.
