Bilt Leica scores again

Jan 02, 2012

Bilt Leica made the step from maiden to Class 1 with ease on Saturday by taking out the Commercial Kitchen Co Colts & Geldings Class 1 Handicap at the Gold Coast.

Beautifully ridden by Tegan Harrison, the four year old left the gates slowly before being pushed to the lead.  He was taken on by Hebron Road and Harrison didn't hesitate opting to take the trail and waited until he straightened before letting him go where he sprinted away from the field by score by three lengths.

Trainer Bruce Hill was impressed by the ease of the win and is confident the son of Latarmiss can keep stepping up. " I'll look for a suitable race mid-week in town for him and we'll go from there", Hill stated.
