Lady Colours dazzles on debut

Dec 03, 2011

Smart filly Lady Colours made an impressive debut at Ipswich yesterday leading all the way to take out the Channel 7 QTIS two year old Maiden over 1100m.

The daughter of Red Dazzler jumped well from the inside barrier and traveled comfortably on the heavy 8 surface.

Trainer Bruce Hill was thrilled with the run, " I was fairly confident that she'd race well but was unsure how she was going to handle the ground", he stated.

"She's such a nice filly with a good pedigree, I bought her at the QTIS 600 sale in April. As soon as I saw her I was going to buy her no matter what she cost". Hill added.
