Nov 21, 2011

Stable Apprentice Tegan Harrison and Satch combined for an impressive victory in the Perfect Earth Class 2 Handicap at the Sunshine Coast yesterday.

The inform Harrison provided Satch with a perfect run trailing the speed before peeling out on the turn and reeling in the front runners to score by 3 lengths.

It was only the third victory for the son of Hussonet but he has always showed plenty of promise.  During this years Brisbane winter carnival he finished 1 1/2 lengths of Chateau Fort in the Group 3 Gunsynd before going on to the Queensland Derby were he had no luck in the run.

Trainer Bruce Hill has not revealed his future plans for Satch but says he'll look for a similar race to yesterdays for his next start.
