Waterhouse tipping Startsmeup

Trainer Chris Waller, too, is hardly oozing confidence about My Kingdom Of Fife, for the Chelmsford, but with the promise of being a contender in the top spring handicaps. ''Whatever he does he will improve upon,'' Waller said.''If he could finish in the top five that would be ideal.''
Not if you've taken the $5.50 into $3.60 yesterday with TAB Sportsbet but most bookmakers are in his corner.'
However, Tom Waterhouse (tomwaterhouse.com) is tipping Queenslander Startsmeup.
''In terrific form this preparation and has a fitness edge over his rivals, in a lacklustre event he looks a top chance and is at outstanding odds, $7,'' he said. Startsmeup however isn't well treated at weight-for-age. Third to Pinwheel in the 1400-metre Warwick Stakes on August 20, Startsmeup finished well back at his only 1600m start, obviously not a worry with My Kingdom Of Fife, which scored over today's distance first-up in Australia. His weight-for-age credentials come from notching the group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick when he beat Sacred Choice, a rival today.
Sacred Choice has excellent distance credentials having started seven times over the 1600m for four wins and three placings.
Obviously the decision to start Maluckyday in the Chelmsford has added class to the sprint but he's more of a ''watch'' type considering his autumn failures. Maybe he's a spring horse, but My Kingdom Of Fife ticks all the boxes, bar track and stable confidence.
