Zadane - the later the better.

When Zadane started racing in July he was pretty much clueless about racing.
The well bred son of Zabeel, like many of his breed is a slow maturer.
Bruce thought the best way to teach him is to keep him racing.
By the time he won his first race in October at his eighth start he was getting the gist of thing.
The win coincided with a rise to 2000m on the Cushion track at the Sunshine Coast.
Zadane settled near the tail but finished too well for Sancy Diamond and Sir Mossman winning by 2-3/4 lengths running away.
``The best of this horse is in front of him and I am happy with the stage he is at,'' Bruce said.
Bruce gave him one more run when fourth to stablemate Warringah at Eagle Farm on Melbourne Cup day.
``That run was better than the win, he will make a very handy horse and I have put him out in the paddock for now,'' Bruce said.
