Brigadoon Jack - back and winning
Oct 29, 2010
A top training performance from Bruce enabled Brigadoon Jack to return to the winner's list at the Gold Coast after a year off the scene.
In doing so the four-year-old provided its owner and part time trainer Col Harbrow his 100th winner as a owner.
Brigadoon Jack missed 51 weeks of racing due to a near side leg injury but Bruce was confident of a bright return.
``He had been working really well and I was confident of a good run.
Backed from $3.80 to $2.60 favourite Brigadoon Jack settled behind the leaders but revved up in the straight to win easily.
It was the second win for the son of Falvelon in just seven starts.
``He has only missed a placing in one of seven starts, he is a decent horse,'' Bruce said.
``It is good to win for Col who has always been a good supporter of my yard.''
